Cesar Lucanio has been one of the more consistent emcees I’ve discovered since opening this blog, and now he just released another project that seems to continue that trend. I might have liked this album more if it was a dork mustache exclusive instead of DJ Booth, but it’s good music so I won’t hate.
Infamous Dominican Diplomat, Porfirio Rubirosa (a.k.a. “The Original James Bond”) made his mark as an International Playboy, for his jet-setting lifestyle and his legendary prowess with women. DJBooth regular Cesar Luciano plans to do the same with the latest addition to his growing discography, Confessions of Rubirosa: The Last Playboy. The album features previously-released highlights “Fly,” “Make a Move,” “Young James Bond.” Ceez draws out the experiences of an “Urban Playboy” thanks to the canvas that producers FreezeTag, MarvX, 0-Seven and Tecknowledgy provide throughout the 14-track album, while guest features are limited to Cali Cam, Danny London, Nino Green and Richie Grand.
