In their new single State of Emergency, MidCoast Most attempts to shine some more light on the hardships people are dealing with in Detroit. It’s pretty much a universally accepted fact Detroit is doing shitty, and getting worse, but it seems like very little is ever done to change it. I’ve never been there, but everything I’ve ever heard about it confirms it really is in a state of emergency.
The industries that built the economy are a shadow of what they used to be, no one want’s to live there so the housing market is crap, the education sucks and crime is through the roof. Maybe we should take some time away from rebuilding other countries, and try to rebuild our own for once.
